SWVAC have 32 runners competing in the 2017 EAMA XC Inter Area Challenge at Bournemouth on Saturday 25th November

1) There are 69 entries in total, Click here to see who has entered, will be no entries on the day and no guest runners will be allowed to run.

2) There will be one race for all age groups starting at 13.30pm, there will be a runners briefing at the start line at 13.15pm.

3) Race numbers will be issued on the day from midday at Race HQ in the Kings Park Athletics Centre Bournemouth BH7 6JD.

4) The race will be approx. 4.5 miles (7.5km) and will be 3 laps around the grassy area and fields outside of the Kings Park Athletics Centre, it is an undulating course and can be muddy in places so off road shoes maybe required. 5) Area club vests should be worn if possible but first claim / national / GB vests may be worn otherwise.

6) Area teams will consist of as many male / female runners from any age category with the top 10 men and top 10 women from each area scoring for their team, individual finishing times will be age grade adjusted. If there are not 10 men and 10 women in an area team the “missing” members will be given the slowest age grade adjusted times of the day.

7) The team scoring will be the sum of position points, based on times converted to age-graded %ages, of the first 10 men and 10 women for each area club.

8) The winning area team will be awarded the EAMA Cross Country Inter Area Trophy and the winning runners will be given certificates.

9) The presentation will be held at the Race HQ at 15.30pm and we aim to be finished by 16.00pm. 

10) There are changing rooms with showers available at the Kings Park Athletics Centre and there is a café that will be serving drinks and snacks from midday.

11) We will have first aid cover provided by a2e Medical Services Ltd.

13) There is car parking available adjacent to the Kings Park Athletics Centre, but please note the advice below :-

Please note that, although parking charges will apply, payment in the Kings Park car park is possible only by phone or text.  There are no cash machinesand no means of paying with cash.
To save time and hassle on the day you are 
strongly advised to prepare for payment before you arrive.  This can be done by going to www.paybyphone.co.uk or telephoning 01202 217070 (24 hours).  You will need to register your vehicle and credit/debit card number and when you arrive you will need to text (65565) or phone (01202 217070).  Information about this is displayed in the car park.
You can register over the phone at the car park when you arrive, but this will take some time and you will need to ensure you have your credit/debit card with you.
The location code for Kings Park car park is 59046.  If you have registered and are texting you will need to text (to 65565) the 5 digit car park code, the minutes to be paid for, and your card 3 digit security code, with spaces, for example 59046 60 123.
The car parking charges are:
£1 for 1 hour
£1.50 for 2 hours
£3.50 for 4 hours
£5 for 24 hours.
